Here it is - the lovely and very dangerous jamb saw!Saturday was a 4-saw day. Yes, we can count the progress by the number of saws used. Saturday featured these saws: the fancy, new jamb saw (pictured), the circular saw, a hand saw (for those hard to reach corners), and the most popular and best-beloved saw of them all: the sawzall. The sawzall does exactly that: it saws all. It is also known by the name reciprocating saw due to its back & forth motion, but perhaps it is also due to the reciprocation of appreciation and understanding between the saw and the one who wields it.
