Three days of tile work and I'm ready to drop.
Day 1
I cut about 2o tiles. Doesn't sound like a lot, but each one was likely more than 1 cut and a couple of them had challenging to very difficult round-cuts.
Day 2
I cut about 20 more tiles. Only this was grueling because many of them involved cut-outs and round-holes requiring the drill and the glass grinder. Dave lays all the tiles. He is one with the thin set.
Day 3
I cut about a million tiles. Or so it seems. I cut. Dave lays I cut, cut, cut. Dave applies thin set. I cut more. Dave creates a jig for the tiles without support from below. I cut and cut. Dave drills holes. I grind the holes. I cut more. Dave places the tiles with care. Eventually, we finished out the shower wall, including the niches, and continue above the window.
The only remaining tile is the bottom of the niches and the toe kick in the rest of the bathroom. A-men when that is done.
