Okay, I am remiss in my blogging on this project. But don't think we aren't still working on it!
Plus - we've started on another... (see below).
We finally got to putting the frosted glass cabinet doors on the shelves in the water closet. Looks much better now! Here's a close-up of the cool hinges - they allow the glass to go right up to the wall, frame-less style. This is unusual for glass cabinetry, but of course, we have to have things the way we like them! No big hinges! Just say no.

The next project is a summer project as it involves the out of doors. The backyard - the terrible backyard which we rarely use. We pulled out all the yucky vines one weekend. Had them hauled away, and then Dave dug a trench another weekend and extended the concrete retaining walls further along the grade.

Digging is hard. Or so I'm told.
Then he built up the wall with pressure-treated wood. That will make the first tier. We'll have to put in a second one next, then we can fill it all in with gravel and dirt and topsoil. Fun!
